Ariedo Braida, former Rossoneri director, spoke to SoFoot about Milan’s difficult moment.
Here are his words, as relayed via Milannews.it:
“I’m sad; seeing Milan in this state makes me feel bad. The reasons? A crisis of identity and a lack of sense of belonging. Huge mistakes have been made for years at all levels, and the consequence is that we have a club and a team without an identity. I had predicted at the beginning of the season that this wouldn’t be a competitive team: the club is too unstable, there’s no clear direction, coaches come and go, and the squad changes every year."

"To be ambitious, you need continuity, for example, allowing a coach to work for 2-3 years, or even ten if possible. Who is most to blame? The players are responsible, but it’s difficult to perform in a club without identity. What’s missing is leadership, a strong figure like Berlusconi was. With him and Galliani, there was a clear direction.”
