Fikayo Tomori's season has been quite strange so far:

He was a starter in the early matches with Paulo Fonseca, but after the trip to Florence and the infamous incident where he took the ball from Pulisic to let his good friend Abraham take the penalty (which he missed), he has seen little playing time.

At the end of December, there was a coaching change, and Sergio Conceiçao arrived. Initially, it seemed like the English defender had regained his starting position in the Milan defense, but then came another setback following his red card against Empoli. Since that day (February 8), the former Chelsea player has only played 30 minutes in the first leg of the Champions League playoff against Feyenoord.

January reaction...

Tuttosport reports that during the January transfer window, Tomori was very close to leaving: first, Juventus showed interest, then Tottenham wanted him and even offered 25 million euros plus bonuses, an offer that convinced Milan to accept. However, the English player, who thought he had regained a starting spot with Conceiçao, decided to reject the move to London and stay at Milanello. Unfortunately, just days later, the former Chelsea player lost his place on the field again, and who knows, he might regret saying no to Spurs.

Will Tomori leave Milan at the end of the season?

Right now, Milan has no certainties until the new sporting director is appointed. However, the feeling is that Tomori's adventure at Milan is coming to an end. It is likely that the Premier League's interest will resurface in the summer, and this time Fikayo might decide to listen to it, unlike what happened in January. Of course, an enticing offer will be needed for everyone, not just the defender but also for the club.
