Former Milan full-back Gianluca Zambrotta spoke to the microphones of Sportmediaset, also focusing on the Rossoneri, Conceição, Theo Hernandez, and Rafa Leao.
Here are Zambrotta’s words:
On Milan under Sergio Conceição:
"I’ve said it: in my opinion, Conceição is still doing a good job considering what he found when he arrived. He came in and immediately gave a jolt with the Supercoppa victory against two eternal rival teams, pulling off two impossible comebacks. Then, of course, he found himself dealing with the same problems that Fonseca had. It’s clear that there isn’t a calm and peaceful atmosphere, so naturally, the players cannot work in a relaxed and focused manner and think only about the pitch. As long as there isn’t an environment that allows you to give 110% on the field and focus solely on football, it will always be difficult. The club, together with the coach and staff, must assess the situation, look for a sporting director with experience who has won with important teams in recent years, and ultimately restore some serenity to the environment, which is what Milan is currently lacking as well," as relayed via MilanPress.it.

On how he would have seen Theo Hernandez at Como, Zambrotta said:
"I would have seen him very well. We all know Theo—he has great talent. We have to consider that, in terms of goals scored as a defender, he has surpassed a certain Paolo Maldini—that already says it all. A player like him cannot be questioned. Clearly, like Leao, he is a bit inconsistent; when he manages to find continuity in his performances, and the same goes for Leao, they could and must become the pillars of this Milan. The idea of Como was a nice one, but perhaps a bit improbable."
