As reported by the Lega Serie A website, Sérgio Conceição could become the second Milan coach since the early 2000s to remain unbeaten in his first three Milan derbies against the Nerazzurri across all competitions (1 win, 1 draw so far), after Massimiliano Allegri (who achieved three victories between 2010 and 2011).
Simone Inzaghi and Sérgio Conceição shared the locker room as players at Lazio during the 1999/2000 season (winning the club’s second and most recent Scudetto) and in the first part of the 2003/04 season. The Portuguese coach also played for Inter between 2001 and 2003, making 42 appearances and scoring one goal in Serie A.
