Luca Serafini spoke about AC Milan and the club's decision to reverse its appointment of Fabio Paratici as the new sporting director during his appearance on Sportitalia:
"Whether or not there is a statement from ADISE ( Italian Association of Sporting Directors), the fact is that the president of ADISE is also the president of Inter, which is like me being the president of the bar association and also being a journalist. It doesn’t sit very elegantly. Then, as my father used to say: 'When it thunders somewhere, it rains'."
He added:
"On one side, there is this strange anathema against Paratici, who is a banned individual, but you can buy a player who is banned, you can hire a coach who is banned. It’s not clear why you shouldn’t do it with a sporting director."
Serafini continued:
"On the other side, there is a club that is evidently scared, and that’s why someone clearly didn’t make a very convinced choice, because if I’ve decided that my sporting director is Paratici, then my sporting director is Paratici. Period. We’re back to the usual stories."
