FIGC President Gabriele Gravina spoke to the media present at the Social Football Summit. At the end of his speech, he also responded to a question about the possibility—cooled down in recent days—of Fabio Paratici taking on the role of sporting director at Milan:
“I read that someone linked my name to hypotheses of this kind (that there were pressures to block the deal or that the operation is under scrutiny). Absolutely not, Milan or anyone else can contract Paratici, who, as is known, cannot operate until July 2025. He cannot operate, but there is no rule that prohibits him from being put under contract," as relayed via Calciomercato.com.

Gravina added:
"We acknowledge the lack of facilities but we reaffirm our willingness to intervene. This is an excellent starting point. We want to do our part, to respect our industrial plan. There are legislative activities that can facilitate certain paths; I agree with Elio Simonelli. If the Government were also to share this path, we could operate well.”
"If we start to truly consider the game of football in its real dimension, we would take a great step forward. There is shared commitment from many clubs and many youth sectors."
