"The thrashing and the fear. Maignan’s night": this is how Corriere della Sera opens its sports pages this morning to comment on Milan’s 4–0 victory last night against Udinese (goals by Leao, Pavlovic, Theo, and Reijnders).

Sergio Conceição chose to change the formation, moving from a 4-2-3-1 to a 3-4-3, and received excellent responses from a team that had not delivered such a performance in a long time.
Moments of fear for Maignan...
During the match, however, there were moments of fear for Mike Maignan, who remained on the ground after a very hard collision with teammate Alex Jimenez. The Frenchman sustained a cranial trauma and was taken to a hospital in Udine where, fortunately, the tests he underwent came back negative.
The Milan player spent the night under observation and will return to Milan this morning.
