"Milan meets Tare. Summit with CEO Furlani"
That is the headline of today’s edition of Corriere della Sera, which explains that the casting for the new sporting director of the Rossoneri is entering its decisive phase. In the coming hours, a meeting is scheduled between CEO Giorgio Furlani and Igli Tare, former Lazio sporting director.

Currently, the Albanian is without a club and therefore could potentially be able to start working for the Rossoneri club immediately. He is now in pole position to become Milan’s new sporting director.
In fact, besides Tare, other profiles are still in the running, although they are tied to other clubs: one name that remains hot is Tony D’Amico, sporting director of Atalanta, who would first have to be released from his contract with the Bergamo side (not a simple matter). Giovanni Sartori is also highly appreciated at AC Milan, but he seems inclined to stay at Bologna.
