On the sidelines of the ceremony at the Damiano Chiesa school on Via Antonini, Giuseppe Sala, mayor of Milan, spoke as follows about the issue of the new San Siro that Milan and Inter want to build:
‘If the sale of San Siro does not go ahead, San Donato is still there, ready,’ reports Il Giorno. ‘In recent days, Milan announced that it will find a solution for San Donato. The project is probably to bring the youth sector center there."

Sala added:
"Milan has also invested a significant sum, and this must be taken into account. I do not believe that for the Milanese, for Milan, for the fans, going to San Donato is a good thing. The goal for the sale of the land and the stadium is still to finalize it by summer.’
