"Milan turning point, moving forward with Tare. Allegri in pole position for the bench"
That is the headline this morning from Repubblica, which explains that Igli Tare is currently the big favorite to become the new sporting director of the Rossoneri. Yesterday in Rome, there was a long meeting between the Albanian and Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani, in which they obviously also talked about the Milan to come. Thus, Tony D'Amico and Giovanni Sartori have fallen behind, as they are set to remain at Atalanta and Bologna respectively. Unless there are further twists, Tare is expected to sign at the next meeting with Furlani, which will also be attended by Gerry Cardinale.
Milan bench: Allegri in pole position
The first issue the new Rossoneri sporting director will have to address is obviously that of the new coach, since the chances of Sergio Conceição being confirmed are very low. Talks have just begun, but for the moment, the favorite for the Milan bench is Massimiliano Allegri, with Cesc Fabregas and Roberto De Zerbi trailing behind.
