The historic full-back of Milan and Roma, Cafu, spoke on the sidelines of the Laureus World Sports Awards in Barcelona to comment on current Italian football events and more. These were his statements to the microphones of Sky Sport:
"The fight between Inter and Napoli for the Scudetto will be evenly matched until the end. Let’s not forget that there’s also Roma, who are fighting for the Champions League. It will be a very beautiful end to the season. Italian football has returned to being a protagonist also on an international level, with the Nerazzurri in the Champions League semifinal against Barcelona."
Cafu then added a remark about the Coppa Italia derby between Inter and Milan scheduled for tomorrow, valid for the return leg of the semifinal:
"The derby is always a special challenge, even if at this moment it's an Inter that is doing well and a Milan that isn't doing all that well. But in matches like these, anything can happen."
