Among the issues that Milan will have to address in the coming weeks is also Theo Hernandez’s contract.
The Frenchman's deal is set to expire in 2026. Negotiations for his renewal have been on hold for some time, but according to today’s edition of Repubblica, there could be a new opening for an extension for the former Real Madrid player.

On Sunday, before the match against Atalanta, Milan’s sporting director Geoffrey Moncada spoke to DAZN about the negotiations for Theo Hernandez’s renewal:
"I really like Theo. I know he can play games like the one in Udine tonight as well. We are talking, we are working. We are not that far apart. I hope this system can make him even stronger."
