It’s Milan who become the first finalist of the Coppa Italia! The Rossoneri complete the treble against Inter, courtesy of Jović and Reijnders.
The first alert of the match comes after 10′, when Darmian collects a ball left in midfield and races toward Maignan’s goal: a diagonal with his right foot that just misses. There is plenty of intensity in the center of the pitch. And in the 22nd minute the Nerazzurri have their second chance: Barella switches out wide to the Inter winger, who manages to strike despite the pressing—his shot smacks off the crossbar’s top.

In the 32nd minute it’s again Inter threatening after a lovely team move: Barella finds Taremi in the penalty area, perfect lay‑off for Lautaro, but, he fires high.
However, in the 35th minute it is Conceicao's Rossoneri team who take the lead, with a fine header from Luka Jović, who makes the most of a Jiménez cross.
On the 50th minute the Rossoneri double their advantage with Jović’s personal brace. From a corner whipped in, there’s a scramble in the Inter box and finally the Serb pounces! 2–0 to the Devil—an absolute nightmare start to the second half for the Nerazzurri.
Inzaghi is furious: on come Çalhanoğlu, Frattesi, Zalewski, and Arnautović; off go Asllani, Barella, Dimarco, and Taremi, as pointed out by Alfredo Pedullà.
In the 68th minute Maignan surpasses himself, shutting the door on De Vrij. Inter pour forward in search of a goal to reopen the match, but in the 85th minute, the Rossoneri seal it with Reijnders’ strike.
Thus it ends at San Siro: Milan return to the Coppa Italia final after seven years. Simone Inzaghi’s men see their dreams of a Treble extinguished.
