Regarding the search for AC Milan’s new sporting director, today’s edition of Tuttosport headlines this morning:
"Gerry Cardinale meets Paratici, but D’Amico remains in pole position."

On Monday, by Lake Como, there was a face-to-face meeting between Gerry Cardinale, owner of the Rossoneri club, and Fabio Paratici, former Juventus sporting director, who just a few weeks ago was very close to joining the management. Despite this meeting, he will not be entering Milan’s organizational structure.
Still in the running for the role of sporting director are the other candidates, particularly Tony D’Amico, who has long been the favorite of Giorgio Furlani. The Rossoneri CEO is reportedly working behind the scenes to convince him to leave Atalanta, with whom he is under contract until 2027. In recent weeks, there have also been several contacts with Igli Tare, but the former Lazio director does not appear to have fully convinced.
