Former coach Arrigo Sacchi spoke exclusively to those at CalcioBox to discuss Milan, Serie A, and more.
Below are his statements.
Milan’s current situation doesn’t seem to be the best. In your opinion, what should the club do next season to bring Milan back to its former glory?
"Look, when you start with a club that lacks history, vision, competence, and style, it’s very likely that problems will arise. These aspects come before the team. The club is the foundation. If these elements are missing, then difficulties are inevitable."

So it's more of a structural issue within the club than a coaching problem?
"Exactly. A good club builds a good team, not the other way around."
Let’s talk about the Coppa Italia. Who do you see as the favorite between Milan and Bologna? Sacchi commented:
"That’s a tough question. I’m no longer part of the system, but if Milan has a club that is up to the task, with clear ideas and well-chosen players, then it can become great again. But consistency is essential. You can’t say 'I want a playmaker' and then sign a different type of player. Few ideas, but clear ones."
