The President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, spoke in the following way during the meeting with the Coppa Italia finalists, AC Milan and Bologna:
"Always remember, as has been said and as you well know, that you are a point of reference for many young people in our country and in the countries you come from. Your behavior is exemplary for children and young people. This is a value that rests on your shoulders, on your abilities as champions, on your sense of responsibility."
President Mattarella added:
"How much there is of an ethical nature in champions who are seen as role models by many young people in our country. Boys and girls, because women's football is also growing, as is well known, and this shows how it is a phenomenon around which our national community gathers," as relayed via ANSA.
