The former Rossonero Alexandre Pato gave the following words to La Gazzetta dello Sport about his decision to join Milan in 2007:
“I had other offers, but I played PlayStation a lot and most of the champions I picked were from Milan. It was like stepping into the PlayStation. Braida came to visit me in Brazil, Ancelotti studied me live in Canada at the U-20 World Cup. I decided quickly. Then I had to be patient for a few months because at the end of the summer transfer window I was still underage. And in January I made my debut against Napoli: I had been waiting for that moment for a long time, and the fans had too. I scored right away, and the roar of San Siro is still inside me. I miss San Siro, I miss Milan. I would give everything to wear that shirt again: six months would be enough for me to return the love I’ve always felt and to help the club.”

The best moment experienced in a Milan shirt? Pato replied:
“The brace in the 2011 Scudetto derby. That year I scored 14 goals in 25 games, and I got along really well with Ibra and Robinho. The match against Inter a few rounds from the end was decisive and, speaking of the roar of San Siro, after my two goals the stadium exploded," as relayed via Milannews.it.
