During his usual editorial for TMW, Sky Sport journalist and transfer market expert Luca Marchetti provided an update on AC Milan’s incoming and outgoing operations:
“[…] Meanwhile, the transfer market for Serie A’s top clubs is heating up. Milan has officially sold Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City: a deal worth €55 million plus €15 million in bonuses, with a five-year contract for the midfielder. The Rossoneri club, having bid farewell to their midfielder and currently negotiating with Napoli for the sale of Musah (which we’ll discuss later), continues to operate on multiple fronts. Mateo Retegui is the top name for the attack, with new contacts made in recent hours. Alternatively, the idea of Vlahovic remains alive (but his high salary complicates any discussion with Juventus). In midfield, they like 17-year-old Bouaddi from Lille, who has impressed Allegri."

Marchetti continued to discuss AC Milan's market strategies:
"On the left flank (especially in case of Theo’s departure, as Atletico Madrid remain interested), the pressure has resumed for Zinchenko, though again his salary is a stumbling block. Meanwhile, the appointment of Bernardo Corradi to Allegri’s staff has been finalized: the former striker has left Italy’s Under-20 team to begin this new adventure. As for Maignan, Chelsea hasn’t raised their offer and for now, the goalkeeper stays. Also because, if the sale of Musah goes through, Milan would not need to make further departures […]”.
