On the Xbdvl Podcast by Cannon Sports Media, former AC Milan executive Ivan Gazidis spoke about Geoffrey Moncada as a top scout and the quality of Milan's video analysis. A significant, if not fundamental, parenthesis was also dedicated to Paolo Maldini's experience as a director with the Rossoneri.
"One of the first things we decided to do was to hire a chief scout of quality and talent like Moncada, who is good at discovering young talents to rebuild Milan."
Gazidis added:
"To do well, you also need to know how to analyze players and their characteristics, not just the technical ones, and we did that in every transfer window."
