Allegri’s mission at Milan to be more difficult than anticipated

There is less and less time until the start of Milan’s new season, which will officially begin in early July with the training camp at Milanello scheduled for the 7th. It is here that Massimiliano Allegri will start again — even though, in some way, he already has — to dive back into the Rossoneri world after eleven years, and he will finally deal directly with his new players.

Face to face, one in front of the other, inside the locker room, the sacred place par excellence when you play football. And Max will have a lot to do in the locker room, to change — as is implicitly being asked of him — the face of Milan.

By the way, for the Rossoneri fans who are looking for a new way of excitement and also to pass the time during the off season and while also waiting for developments in this transfer market window, they can check out https://verdecasino-italy.com/it-it/. The platform offers a big variety of games to play with safe and secure payment methods as well as reward promotions. Fans can dive into an extensive catalog of slots, table games, and live casino experiences, all crafted by top developers like NetEnt and Pragmatic Play. The site’s user-friendly interface, also available in Italian, ensures a seamless gaming experience across devices, whether at home or on the go. There are also very generous welcome bonuses to take advantage of.

Speaking of Milan again, it was a strange season that did see the victory of a trophy, yes, but was disastrous in every other aspect. On paper, it was a team that did not manage to go further, to take that extra mental leap, also, and perhaps especially, because of the attitudes of certain individuals who, if they did not shine technically, did even worse mentally.

Theo, but not only him — Allegri’s mission is to recover everyone...

And if you hire a coach like Allegri, it is clear that your mission is to recover a group, a team, especially on a character level. Then the pitch will come, as always, but at the moment Milan’s priority is to straighten out and sort all the locker room divergences.

First among them is the issue of Theo Hernandez, which appears to be the most thorny of all. It’s been some time now that we’ve all noticed how the Frenchman’s head is no longer focused on Milan. Be it for matters on the pitch or off it, Theo is unable to give his best. And it shows. For this reason, and because his contract expires next year, selling him — at least for a fee that reflects his value — currently seems impossible. Devaluing him so much would be a sacrilege for Milan, perhaps even more than losing him on a free.

So then, why not try to recover him — especially mentally. For him and for Milan. For him, so he can have all the offers he wants, and from the teams he wants. The limited appeal, at the moment, only brings Al Hilal and a few other proposals that don’t particularly excite him. For Milan, obviously, from a technical perspective for next season and from an economic one for the future. The renewal, now that his value has dropped, could be the best solution for everyone and serve as a bridge toward a brighter future — or at least to not throw everything away, as pointed out by Milan Press.

Then there are Maignan, Thiaw, Tomori, Leao — also not in the best situation — and they too will need to be revitalized by the coach if they want to continue being important players and assets of a Milan that is increasingly in decline. But let’s take one case at a time.

All of this — and maybe even more, no, definitely more. That’s why Massimiliano Allegri’s mission will be harder than expected.
