AC Milan has set its sights on Javi Guerra of Valencia to strengthen its midfield and has already submitted a first official offer of 16 million euros plus four million in bonuses—an offer that the Spanish club immediately rejected and considered “offensive,” since the value of the player, currently involved with Spain’s Under-21 team at the Euros, is much higher.

High price tag set by Valencia for Milan target Javi Guerra...
This was reported by the Valencian newspaper Levante, which explains that for Valencia, the young midfielder is worth more than 25 million euros. Furthermore, the Spanish club considers him non-transferable and is actually working to renew his contract, which expires in 2027 (although the extension does not currently seem very close). This season, Guerra has improved tremendously, and coach Corberan considers him a key element in the midfield. In the transfer market, as we know, things can change quickly, but Valencia’s intention is therefore not to sell the 2003-born midfielder.
Milan and Valencia already negotiated two summers ago over Yunus Musah, who eventually joined the Rossoneri for 20 million euros plus one million in bonuses. Even in that case, Milan’s initial offer was much lower (7–8 million, according to Spanish source Levante), but there is a major difference compared to the deal for the American midfielder: today, the Spanish club has no need to sell as it did two years ago and can therefore afford to stand firm. If Milan truly wants Javi Guerra, it must raise its offer—otherwise, convincing Valencia to let him go will be nearly impossible.
