Among the many situations taking shape at Milan in this early phase of the transfer market, one concerns striker Alvaro Morata. Last year, the Spanish center-forward was the major signing for the Rossoneri’s attacking department, but after just six months — with few goals scored and a chemistry that never truly developed at Milanello — he parted ways with the club, which loaned him to Galatasaray until January 20, 2026.

The deal included a buy option set at €8 million (rising to €9 million if exercised before June 30, 2025), as reported by Milannews.it.
Now, according to the latest reports, Morata seems to have already grown tired of Turkey and even wants to return to Milan. The reason is simple: Massimiliano Allegri is now on the Rossoneri bench, and he is perhaps the coach under whom the former Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, and Atlético forward has had the most success in his career. The problem is that breaking free from the loan agreement with the Turkish club won’t be easy: the deal included a €6 million loan fee to be paid in installments. Therefore, for Galatasaray, letting Morata go early would mean having spent money for nothing.
