According to what was reported by the editorial team of 'TuttoMercatoWeb', Rodrigo de Paul, Argentine midfielder born in 1994, will not continue his career at Atlético Madrid: with a contract expiring on June 30, 2026, he will leave the 'Colchoneros' in this summer transfer window.

Galatasaray is said to have taken the first concrete steps to sign the 2022 World Cup winner with the Albiceleste: those close to de Paul, who was already seen in Serie A with Udinese for five seasons between 2016 and 2021, are considering the possibility of a move to the Turkish Süper Lig, as pointed out by PianetaMilan.it.

In the meantime, however, as revealed by 'TMW', in recent days there has been contact between de Paul’s entourage and some Italian clubs: above all, it seems, Milan, who appreciate him. These are intense days for Atlético’s number 5, who will soon make a decision about his future.

Will Milan's interest in 31-year-old Rodrigo De Paul turn into an offer or not?

For de Paul, in any case, there may also be the possibility of crossing European borders and landing in the Saudi Arabian Pro League, where they are ready to make a move. Galatasaray, in the meantime, is making a concrete effort and an official proposal to start negotiations could arrive soon. We will see whether Milan’s interest will materialize into an offer or not for the ex Valencia and Udinese player, whose contract with Atletico Madrid runs until the summer of 2026.
