According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Cremonese have set their sights on a Milan midfielder—namely, Tommaso Pobega. The player returned to the Rossoneri after his loan spell at Bologna ended without a buyout. The newly promoted Serie A club has made initial contact with the club based on Via Aldo Rossi for the Milan youth academy product.
Besides Cremonese, Bologna are not completely out of the race
In truth, Bologna would have gladly kept him, but considered the €12 million buyout option too high. However, it’s not ruled out that the Rossoblù may come back for the young midfielder during this summer transfer window—possibly proposing a new loan with a mandatory purchase at a lower fee, or a permanent deal for around €6–7 million.
