Ardon Jashari, the 2002-born midfielder from Club Brugge, has very clear ideas about his future: he wants to play for Milan—a decision he has already communicated to the Belgian club’s management.

The Belgian club, however, is once again proving to be a tough negotiator after the deal for Charles De Ketelaere. Tuttosport reported this morning that the Rossoneri have increased their offer, reaching 30 million euros plus bonuses (between 3 and 5 million), but that still isn’t enough to convince the Belgians, who continue to demand 35 million guaranteed plus five in bonuses to hit the 40 million mark.
Still room to negotiate for Jashari?
At the moment, no club seems willing to meet that figure—not even Borussia Dortmund, who are very interested in Jashari and are set to collect 65 million euros from the sale of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to Chelsea. Negotiations are therefore expected to continue, as Club Brugge has yet to lower its demands and shows no intention of accommodating Milan, despite the player’s strong desire to wear the red and black shirt. For their part, the Rossoneri are not giving up and will make further attempts, since the Swiss talent is seen by Igli Tare and Massimiliano Allegri as a top priority for restructuring Allegri's midfield department.
Should talks for Jashari drag on or break down completely, the AC Milan club directors already have an alternative lined up: Javi Guerra, the Valencia midfielder valued at 25 million euros. He too, like Jashari, would be very keen to wear the red and black shirt. For now, however, his name remains second in line—at the top of Milan’s wishlist is still the Swiss from Club Brugge.
