AC Milan has several priorities during this summer transfer window, including the search for a new right-back. Among the names currently being linked to the Rossoneri, two stand out: Guela Doué, the older brother of Paris Saint-Germain’s Désiré Doué who plays for Strasbourg, and Martim Fernandes, a 2006-born player from Porto.
There is, however, a major obstacle in the case of the latter: his release clause is set at €60 million. This was reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Regarding Milan’s transfer targets, sporting director Igli Tare said a few days ago: “I consider Musah an excellent player, but we are looking for profiles with characteristics that suit the project we have in place with coach Allegri. We are looking for holding midfielders for a three-man midfield: Musah doesn’t have those characteristics. He can play in a two or a three-man midfield, but with different traits. That’s the real reason we want to go in a different direction. We are also evaluating bringing in another midfielder along with a striker. We will sign a right-back and a left-back. If someone is sold, we’ll also intervene on the wings and in central defense. The same applies to attacking wingers. We must stay focused on doing the best possible for the team and aim to be protagonists.”
