During the usual video update on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, journalist Matteo Moretto provided an overview of AC Milan’s transfer market activity, both incoming and outgoing, and mentioned a new candidate for the Rossoneri’s left flank: Archie Brown, an Anglo-Jamaican born in 2002 who currently plays for Gent:

"A new name, an exclusive we want to share with you here on YouTube, something both Fabrizio and I have worked on. It’s a name that Milan is considering as a possible replacement for Theo Hernandez. The profile Milan is looking for in that role is definitely a young player, someone who has the potential to become a top player in the future. Today we can reveal one of the names included on a shortlist — at least three names are being considered. One of them is the preferred target, which we’ll try to tell you more about in the coming days. But another one, who has a real chance of becoming Theo Hernandez’s replacement, is Archie Brown — a left-back, English U20 international, born in 2002, currently playing for Gent, and under contract until June 2027. He’s a player who has made a name for himself both at club level and in the national team thanks to his qualities. I can assure you, after speaking to several insiders, that they all speak very highly of him. He’s a player with great future potential. We’ll see if Milan decides to go all in on him, but I can guarantee you he is one of the names being seriously considered as a possible replacement for Theo Hernandez."
On AC Milan's Alvaro Morata:
"Everything is okay between Morata and Como. Morata is pushing hard to join Como, and there’s an advanced negotiation between the parties. However, the final green light from Galatasaray is still missing — Gala is the club currently holding control of the situation. Their approval is needed to complete the deal. And I can tell you, thanks also to Fabrizio’s work, that next week there will be an important mission by Alvaro Morata’s agents in Turkey to try and unlock this stalemate, to try to complete Morata’s move to Como. Morata to Como is a specific request made by Cesc Fabregas."
