Last night, Milan celebrated its longstanding partnership with BMW. At the commercial event held in Milan, the three most talked-about figures at the Rossoneri club were also present: CEO Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, and of course, head coach Massimiliano Allegri. During the evening, all three had the opportunity to speak and share their thoughts, goals, and ambitions for this new season. Here are Allegri’s words:
On the first days of training:
"We started a week ago and, so far, we’re working well. But until the matches begin, we all look good — what really matters is when the games start. We’ve begun the season and we’re preparing for it in the best way possible. We know the challenges we’ll face, but more importantly, we understand how significant this season is. I’m very happy."
What emotions did you feel returning to Milanello?
"When I got the first phone call from Tare, and then met with CEO Giorgio Furlani, the foundations for working together were already being laid — and I’m very pleased about that. For me, returning to Milan is something fantastic, I’m very excited. There’s a lot of work to be done because once the season kicks off, only results matter on the pitch. Right now, there is a great sense of unity and shared purpose in our day-to-day work: this is essential for providing a clear direction to everyone working at Milan. We’re at one of the top clubs in the world, and we must respect that — and that respect can only be earned by working with great seriousness, professionalism, and above all, by delivering results."
