Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano provided this update on the negotiations between Milan, Fenerbahçe, and Gent for English left-back Archie Brown:
"According to my information, the Archie Brown situation will be resolved today, in the coming hours. Here's the situation: both Milan and Fenerbahçe are ready to meet Gent’s asking price, which is around 8 million euros plus a percentage on any future resale. Now, the two clubs must reach an agreement with the player, who has given his priority to Milan. However, the club that has so far accepted all the financial conditions of the deal is Fenerbahçe, which is ready to offer the player and his agents exactly what they're asking for."
"Milan knows they have the player’s preference, but at the moment, the Turkish club’s offer to the player is higher than that of the Rossoneri. We’ll see what happens in this battle between Milan and Fenerbahçe. Everything depends on whether Milan decides to match Fenerbahçe’s financial offer to Brown. From what I know, the situation will be resolved today," as relayed via Milannews.it.
