The name of Archie Brown is the hottest at the moment in Milan's plans. Just from last night to this morning, countless rumors and reports have surfaced regarding a negotiation that is constantly evolving and now sees updates almost every hour. After the interest shown in recent days, today Milan seems to be very close to Brown, as reported by Matteo Moretto in the latest video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, and there is said to be a preliminary agreement between the parties.

The Reconstruction

To clarify, it’s necessary to retrace the past few hours. Milan had expressed its appreciation for the player, a 22-year-old left-back currently at Gent, already several days ago. Yesterday, with the official confirmation of Theo Hernandez’s transfer to Al Hilal, the Rossoneri club came out into the open and began to move concretely. The biggest obstacle was the competition from Wolverhampton but above all from Fenerbahce, which, as reported this morning from Turkey, has an agreement with the Belgian club for €8.5 million. However, Milan’s determined move changed the game, especially in the eyes of the player, who would gladly accept the challenge of testing himself at a prestigious club like the Rossoneri.

Brown, Milan is the priority

Moretto, in his latest video, once again updates the situation by stressing that Archie Brown is now very close to Milan. There is a preliminary agreement between the club and the player for a four-year contract plus an option for a fifth, with a salary ranging between €1 million and €1.5 million net per season. The player has therefore put Fenerbahce on hold and placed Milan at the top of his list as an absolute priority. With the player’s preference secured, now the Rossoneri management must take the next steps, especially with the club, to try to close the deal as quickly as possible, as relayed via Milannews.it.
