Last night, Milan celebrated its long-standing partnership with BMW, which has now lasted several years.
At the commercial event held in Milan, the three most talked-about figures in the Rossoneri camp were also present: CEO Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, and, of course, coach Massimiliano Allegri.
During the evening, all three had the chance to speak and focus on their feelings, goals, and Milan’s ambitions for the new season.
Statements from Tare:
A month and a half after your arrival, how is your work progressing?
"I’m very surprised by the club’s organization: right from the start I felt everyone’s willingness to put Max and me in the best possible conditions to ensure this project begins the right way. We still have a long road ahead; we’re in the early stages: we need to be confident and capable of bringing that experience, that mentality, that extra something needed to represent a glorious club like Milan."
The story behind Massimiliano Allegri’s selection and the blitz in Lugano:
"Together with the club, we decided to make this change. From the start, we needed a strong response with an experienced coach and a winning mentality like Max. And there was no doubt: after a phone call between me and him, Giorgio and I went to Lugano to meet Allegri. It was a pleasant meeting because in those 2–3 hours we realized there was synergy — but above all, a shared desire to continue this journey. The three of us are here now, and we’re trying to do the best we can."
