For the right-back position, a profile that Milan likes a lot is Guela Doué, a Strasbourg player and brother of PSG star Désiré. The Rossoneri have already submitted two offers for him, the second amounting to €18 million, but for the French club, it is still not enough to greenlight the transfer.
This was reported this morning by Tuttosport, which explains that “Guela Doué is highly appreciated, but Milan’s €18 million offer is not considered adequate to open negotiations by Strasbourg, a club that shares ownership with Chelsea and clearly remembers how Milan stood firm back in June regarding a possible transfer of Maignan, for whom they demanded at least €20 million. The Blues decided not to push forward, but now there may be a sort of ‘payback’ by driving up the price for Doué, who is their number one target.”
