Club Brugge has rejected, again, another Milan bid for midfielder Ardon Jashari. The Rossoneri management believed and hoped that the 33.5 million euros plus bonuses offered for the Swiss midfielder would finally be enough. However, it appears the Belgian club didn’t even consider the new proposal, as it failed to meet the financial terms they’ve set for letting the player go.
The negotiations have dragged on far longer than anyone initially expected, which is why Milan may soon walk away from the Jashari pursuit once and for all, especially since valid alternatives are certainly not lacking. In fact, Il Corriere dello Sport reports this morning: “Milan shifts focus to Guerra,” referring to the Spanish U21 midfielder, whom the Rossoneri management has never lost sight of during these exhausting weeks of talks with Brugge over the Swiss player.
