Milan have made their offer for Young Boys right-back Athekame: the key to closing the deal could be the bonuses.
A shift to the right, in the literal sense of the word. Milan have completely abandoned the trail leading to Guéla Doué, as it was considered excessively expensive, and have decided to change their approach: giving space to a young profile with lower costs, in order to leave a decent budget to cover the other missing positions.
From the Rossoneri scouting department, the profile of Zachary Athekame emerged, a 2004-born right-back from Young Boys. In the past few hours, the club submitted an official offer to the Swiss side worth 7 million euros, aiming to close the deal quickly.

Milan's agreement with the player
Within two days, Tare quickly reached an agreement with the player for a contract until 2029, with an option for one more year. Athekame had also been offered by his agents to Udinese and Bologna, but now, in his mind, there is only Milan, as per Calciomercato.com.
Milan plan to close the deal tomorrow. Tare has an excellent relationship with Young Boys. The key could be the bonuses (1 or 2 million euros) to bridge a gap that is already minimal. The deal is moving quickly toward completion, with the variable components expected to play a decisive role. After securing the left flank with the arrival of Estupiñán, the Rossoneri, and Massimiliano Allegri, are preparing to welcome a right-back as well.
