Another 48–72 hours, then, if the 'yes' from Club Brugge does not arrive, Milan will definitively abandon the negotiating table for Ardon Jashari. This is written this morning by Corriere della Sera, which explains that the Rossoneri are tired of waiting and want to put an end, one way or the other, to this endless negotiation that has now turned into a real soap opera.
Milan has no intention of making further bids beyond its last offer of 33.5 million euros plus 4.5 in bonuses.
The proposal will therefore not be adjusted, so either the yes from Club Brugge arrives in the next two or three days or they will change target, provided it doesn’t decide to stay as it is in midfield, where Samuele Ricci and Luka Modric have already arrived. From Belgium, however, they continue to insist that the Bruges club wants 40 million euros, that is, the amount that clubs from the Premier League are willing to offer (not to mention the 45 million proposed by the Saudi club Neom). The Italian club does not intend to take part in this bidding war and has therefore given an ultimatum to the Belgians.
Guerra is the alternative in case the Jashari deal collapses...
The Rossoneri are convinced they’ve done everything possible and are still strongly relying on Jashari’s desire, who for weeks now has been pushing to move to Milanello. Club Brugge, however, continues to put up resistance and for now is not fulfilling the Swiss player’s wish. If the green light from the Belgians does not come, then at that point Milan will evaluate alternatives, such as Javi Guerra, who, however, seems to be very close to renewing with Valencia. It is also not ruled out that the Rossoneri remain as they are in midfield and focus their efforts on other positions in this final part of the summer transfer window.
