AC Milan continue to work on Rasmus Hojlund, the young striker from Manchester United. Fabrizio Romano, in a video on his YouTube channel, shared the latest on the negotiations. These were his words:

“The Rasmus Hojlund situation is still on the table. Today there was direct contact: I can confirm there was a meeting between Milan and Hojlund’s agents. Things are starting to heat up. What does this meeting mean? That, on the player’s side, an important door is beginning to open. I want to make one thing clear, which is important in this story: Hojlund has never rejected Milan; he has never said no to Milan. What he said was: ‘I want to stay at United.’ Manchester was his dream, and he managed to get there, probably too early in his career, with a lot of pressure and a difficult situation that was not his fault. But Hojlund has this desire to do well in Manchester, and until the very end he wants to fight for the Manchester United shirt. But again, he never said no to Milan, he simply wanted to fight until the last moment for United. And he still intends to do so in the coming days."
Romano continued to talk about the Milan - Hojlund deal:
"I don’t believe this will happen today, tomorrow, or in the next few hours. Hojlund still wants a little more time, but he is beginning to open the door to Milan. Contact with the agents means starting to discuss figures. On the club’s side, Milan have already been working with intermediaries for days: €6 million for the loan, with an option to buy set at €45 million, which Milan will try to lower a bit. Let’s say these are the figures. But on the player’s side, there is still work to be done on the contract, salary, and everything else. We’ll see how it develops.”
