In about ten days, the Serie A season will begin, which is why we are already starting to see and read all sorts of opinions on rankings, favorites, and potential surprises for the upcoming tournament.

Milan will kick off their campaign against Cremonese at San Siro next Saturday, August 23, coming off an official match against Bari in the Coppa Italia (this Sunday, August 17, also at San Siro). In his interview with Repubblica, former Rossoneri captain and now commentator Riccardo Montolivo also shared his thoughts on Milan.
Montolivo’s words on Massimiliano Allegri at Milan:
"He and Tare have been two great acquisitions. Max is a sensible coach; he puts players in the right positions and knows how to bring out the best qualities of the squad. The team has strengthened in midfield, though there’s still something missing at the back, but I believe they will be contenders this season. Today, however, Napoli is ahead. Allegri is an added value because he brings organization and solidity. He already has a clear idea of how to line up the team, aiming to highlight the strengths of his best player, Leao. With his winning experience, he will change the mentality of this Milan."
