Today’s edition of Tuttosport headlines this morning:
"Hojlund, the day of truth. If he’s left out, it’s an assist for Tare."
This afternoon, Manchester United will face Arsenal, and at Casa Milan there is keen interest in finding out, first of all, whether Rasmus Højlund will be called up, and then, if so, whether coach Amorim will actually use him. The Danish striker is a target for the Rossoneri, who have been negotiating with the Red Devils for days to bring him to Milanello.

After a few days of reflection, Højlund has opened up to the idea of a move to Milan, but he wants the club to commit to a permanent transfer, or at the very least include a purchase obligation in the loan deal, because he does not want to return to United again in a year’s time.
Milan, however, are currently working on a paid loan with an option to buy, and are reluctant to include a purchase obligation, since at the end of the 2025–26 season Francesco Camarda will return to the club, potentially having broken out after a loan spell at Lecce.
