In his editorial for MilanNews.it, journalist Luca Serafini expressed his views on Milan’s attacking moves as follows:
“Regarding Hojlund and Vlahovic, I haven’t changed my mind. In Gasperini’s years, former Atalanta players leaving Bergamo didn’t make a difference; even Kessie (perhaps the one who had developed the most) thought it wise to disappear from the radar at 26, in Saudi Arabia, after an anonymous season at Barcelona. As for Vlahovic, I only have my personal feeling that in a passionate environment like Milan’s, relying on a bet that Juventus lost and on the skills he showed in Florence, he could (or could have) experienced a new life at Rossoneri."

Serafini continued to talk about Milan and their mercato options:
"There’s no evidence or proof, of course. But personally, I was and remain very intrigued by Vlahovic. Trusting Tare, who has to perform giant slaloms between budgets and various constraints, if he decisively bets on the Dane (22, turned in February), he will certainly have many more elements than we’ve seen, few as they were, in the last two seasons in Manchester.”
