The Victor Boniface deal has collapsed. The AC Milan club management, after detailed and thorough medical and fitness tests have decided that they will not go through with the signing of the Nigerian centre-forward of Bayer Leverkusen.
In response, Boniface posted a story on his Instagram profile, seemingly addressing critics who accused him of not being serious, writing: "Clowns everywhere." The text was in Nigerian English 'Pidgin', which Fabrizio Romano also shared. The player has since reached out to the journalist and shared a screenshot of their conversation: "Don't make this a big issue. This is about some Nigerian media. It has nothing to do with my transfer, ok? You have to delete that statement. This has nothing to with Milan or Leverkusen."
(Edit, the post containing the screenshot conversation with Fabrizio Romano has now been deleted by Boniface)

For their part, according to different reports, it seems that the Rossoneri directors are now focusing on signing a different striker with all eyes on Conrad Harder from Sporting Lisbon.
