This morning Victor Boniface returns to Cologne on a private jet.
After spending almost 48 hours in Milan for medical tests, fitness clearance, and in-depth examinations, the Nigerian striker will head back to Germany, where he will await Milan’s final decision, expected later today, as relayed via Milannews.it.
Speaking to DAZN yesterday about the situation surrounding Victor Boniface, sporting director Igli Tare said:
“There were not additional medical checks. We were already aware of the issues from his past, and we’re carrying out a full assessment of the player’s health. His qualities are beyond doubt. We’re simply trying to make the right decision for this situation. Will we make it soon? Of course, after all, the transfer window is closing soon (laughs). We’ll discuss it together with the coach shortly and then reach a final decision. A deadline? We’re not putting pressure on ourselves, if anything, we’re putting it on others.”
