AC Milan have Conrad Harder in their grasp but still cannot welcome him to Milan, meaning it’s unlikely he will be available for the second league match against Lecce. Agreements are in place with both the player and Sporting Club, but the green light for the 2005-born Dane’s flight to Italy is still missing.
As reported this morning, with news coming directly from Portugal, the Lisbon club want to make sure they have a replacement secured before letting the 20-year-old, who is already set to join the Rossoneri, leave.
Sporting CP have identified Fotis Ioannidis as the striker to replace Harder, who himself was meant to step in for Gyökeres after his move to Arsenal. Gianluca Di Marzio confirms the news, adding that it’s unlikely Harder will arrive in Italy before Thursday: Panathinaikos, Ioannidis’ team, play the second leg of their Europa League qualifier that very day, and the Greek club intend to keep hold of their striker at least until then.
