After securing the services of a seasoned and accomplished coach like Massimiliano Allegri, in this recently concluded summer transfer window, Milan opted to bolster their squad with experienced players in midfield as well. The club didn’t just focus on young talent but also brought in players at the peak of their footballing maturity or those with impressive résumés. It’s in this latter group that Adrien Rabiot and, above all, Luka Modric, one of the greatest players in the game’s history, fit perfectly.
This morning, La Gazzetta dello Sport published an article spotlighting both players, the Croatian and the Frenchman, and how their vast experience could elevate Milan. The newspaper writes:
