Fikayo Tomori is one of the faces of Milan’s revival in the first part of this season, under the guidance of an experienced and prepared coach like Massimiliano Allegri. The English defender, who had his breakthrough last year and during the Scudetto season when he arrived at Milanello almost unknown from Chelsea, had seen his performance drop significantly in recent seasons, along with the overall decline of the team’s defensive unit, which often showed weaknesses in multiple areas.

Last January, Tomori was close to leaving, but loyal to the Rossoneri, he rejected Juventus’ offer and decided to stay in Milan. He is now enjoying small victories, leading a defensive line that has conceded only three goals in eight league games, only two of them from open play. His level has risen again, and the club has noticed, starting discussions on a possible contract renewal. Tomori’s current deal runs until June 2027, and according to Corriere dello Sport, meetings with his entourage have already taken place, with a signing possibly coming soon.
