Yesterday, the City Council of Milan held a meeting during which it approved the motion presented by Marco Mazzei, a councillor from the Lista Sala group. He asked the administration to "set up a working group with the football clubs to propose the creation, inside the new stadium, of the largest bicycle parking area in Italy, with at least ten thousand secure and equipped spaces for electric and cargo bikes."
The Milan edition of 'Il Giornale' newspaper reports this morning that the motion was also signed by Democratic Party councillors Alessandro Giungi and Angelo Turco, who had previously opposed the sale of San Siro to the Rossoneri and Nerazzurri clubs. The motion was approved with 20 votes in favor, 11 against, and one abstention, as relayed via those at Milan News.
