Matteo Moretto, well-known journalist and transfer market expert, spoke on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel about the future of Portuguese left-winger Rafael Leao:
"Already in the summer there was an initial approach, a draft discussion about a possible contract extension for Leao. Clubs from Saudi Arabia and Bayern Munich called him and made assessments, but nothing progressed. Then Leao stayed at Milan, the club wanted him to stay, Allegri wanted him to stay at Milan, and Leao was happy to remain there. In recent weeks, this idea has resurfaced in the minds of Milan’s directors and those managing the club’s transfer strategy."
