While waiting for the January transfer window and assessing whether and where to make any moves, the AC Milan club management are actually working to finalize several contract renewals, including those of Alexis Saelemaekers and Fikayo Tomori, both of whom are under contract until 2027.
According to Milan News, both the Belgian winger and the English defender have already expressed full willingness to extend their deals with an improved salary. Talks between Milan and the representatives of the two players are ongoing and productive, though no meetings have yet been scheduled to move into the decisive phase of negotiations.
There is strong confidence and optimism surrounding both situations, and all signs suggest that these two renewals will be completed.
