The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport ran the following headline in this morning's print edition:
"A Milan hat-trick. Rabiot, Pulisic, and Leao: the time has come."
On paper, they are three of Max Allegri’s key starters, but injuries have left them among the players with the fewest minutes. Massimiliano Allegri is ready to reintegrate them, and all three are expected to start Sunday’s derby against Inter.
Milan boss Allegri does not have players arriving late from intercontinental travel.
By Thursday, he and his staff should have the full squad available. Specifically, Matteo Gabbia, Samuele Ricci, Mike Maignan, Christopher Nkunku, Rafael Leao, and Strahinja Pavlovic are expected back at Milanello on Tuesday. Luka Modric and David Odogu will return to training on Wednesday, while Davide Bartesaghi, Alexis Saelemaekers, Koni De Winter, and Zachary Athekame are expected Thursday.
