Franco Ordine, the well-known Italian journalist, commented on AC Milan’s situation to Pressing:
"The Lombardy health assessor called me to say there is a huge demand for Malox. I think this team, especially the defenders, has found the taste for defending. I believe the atmosphere at Milanello has changed, along with the way they work. I think Leao’s behavior, adapting to a new role, gives the impression that everyone suddenly changed their mindset. Rabiot? They should go to the Cremona shrine to give thanks, because without the first-day defeat against Cremonese, Rabiot probably wouldn’t have arrived."
Regarding Mike Maignan's future, whose contract expires next June 30, Ordine said:
"There are two lines of thought: one fueled by Maignan’s entourage and one by the relationships between the club, coach, and player. Tare said they made a pact. I think Milan has every interest, including financially, in keeping Maignan. Especially because if you then have to get another goalkeeper of his level, you have to spend a significant amount."
