Milan’s official website, ahead of tonight’s match against Torino, reports these numbers:
“The Rossoneri have scored in 11 of their last 12 league matches against Torino, with an average of 1.8 goals per game, 22 in total over the stretch. The only match in which they failed to score was a 0-0 draw on April 10, 2022. Despite this, Milan have failed to score in six of their last seven first halves against Torino in the league.
Milan are unbeaten in their last 12 league matches, 8 wins and 4 draws, and kept a clean sheet in seven of them. The last time Milan played more consecutive matches without losing in a single Serie A first half of the season was in 2020/21, 15 on that occasion.
Since his first start in this league season, across the last seven Serie A matchdays, Rafael Leao is the player with the most goals, five. In the current league campaign he averages per 90 minutes 1.6 shots on target, 0.9 chances created and 0.7 successful dribbles. The first figure is his highest in a single season since he arrived in Italy in 2019/20.”
